Issue 3: My favorite Winter decor Items

It's that time of year, the nights are getting darker, the air is colder and all I want to do is decorate my house and feel cozy. Once autumn arrives I want my home filled with a warm ambient glow that makes my heart shine. With Christmas just around the corner I wanted to share my top 7 items for cozy christmas decor that you can add to your house in time for the festive season.

Sented Candles

This candle is one of my favorites from H&M Home. It is a Mahogany scent and fills the space with a warm wood smell. This time of year, I always have a scented candle burning as I think it makes a room even more cozy.

Teatlight Holder

This cute christmas decor piece is from Sostrene grene. It is a tea light candle holder. I would suggest to style a group of these together to create a casual take on the Christmas decor. The white tones add a modern touch to the item and makes it easy to fit in with many different decor styles.

Woolen Blanket

Everyone needs a warm, stylish and cozy blanket to wrap up in and read a good book. This 100% pure wool blanket from Ikea is a perfect addition to your living room or bedroom.

Apres Ski Cushion

These wimcycle cushions are from Anthropologie. They are a mix of wool and polyester with hand embroidered embellishments. Perfect for turning your couch into a piece of art or for a quiet nap. Very kitsch, but who doesn't love a bit of kitsch at Christmas :)

Fairy Lights

If I had my fairy lights would be up 360 days a year. I think they add such an air of magic to a room. The soft light that they give off is the perfect cozy ambient lighting for any room.

Felt Garland

Christmas is all about garlands and this one from Anthropologie is a unique and modern take on a traditional garland. It is 100% felt and is in this beautiful muted blue, red, green and yellow colour palette which means that it can stay up well after christmas too….. bonus.

STRÅLA star lamp

Growing up we would make these paper stars as christmas decorations, they are perfect for a window, over the table or as a replacement for a lamp shade. To me they really feel like christmas. This red and white one is from Ikea, I would suggest to style a group of them together for the ultimate impact.

I hope my suggestions helped to inspire you to decorate your space this holiday season and remember you can never have too many fairy lights.
